Route 66 Diner in Stevens Point

Food was ok. But the hostess was rude! The restaurant was busy, with a few folks always waiting for tables. We ate and the waitress brought the bill. We put out cash and were finishing off our coffee. Within about one minute (not exaggerating!) of the waitress taking our payment the hostess came over to say that "they were busy so if you're done you need to leave". We had no intention of loitering all morning and locking up a table, but it would've been nice to finish our coffee! This was our first visit here, and it will also be our last.

Excellent excellent excellent!!!! Oh man where do I begin!!! We came because of the reviews and folks are right!!! This place is great staff is super friendly!!! While we were there we actually heard the manager thank the wait staff and praise them for doing a good job for the morning rush! I thought that was awesome and sweet!! Food was great I ordered the alfredo and cook looked over and said if u don't like it I will cook you anything else u want! But it was terrific!!! Super glad I came we almost passed it though cause I was not expecting it to be tucked further back ....

Had the steak and eggs. Delicious! Great service! The ladies were very attentive. Will definitely be back!

Always great food and lovely service. I recommend the Mexican omelette. Order with tortillas and make your own little burritos.

Went for breakfast. Service was great even though our waitress said it was her second day. My husband ordered a large chocolate milk and possibly 6 ounces. My husband asked a second waitress 8f it was a large and she said it was. Cost $2.59. Breakfast for 2 $25.00. We had been there before and had a great burger and fries. Music could of had a little more Volume.

This was a cute place I stopped for breakfast during a road trip. Food was good and the atmosphere was fun. Very friendly service.

Enjoyed breakfast meal with my husband and close friend. They had great services there and informed us on special dishes also enjoyed free fill on soda. Also music is very entertaining and classic pictures on wall were enjoyable to look at.

Great food, great service. We stopped off during a road trip and had a super late breakfast ! Would highly recommend. Decor is fun and plenty of parking. Convenient location just off highway!

Went during a busy Sunday , a small wait wasn't too unbearable . Have to give these people credit they move quick. I had a breakfast sandwich and I was a bit confused to see the bacon mixed into the egg, I would much rather have had a traditional couple strips on the croissant sandwich . The hash browns were also just OK. Overall it wasn't bad and I'll certainly consider going here again

The Rock N Roll Cafe was a really cute diner with a very classic rock aesthetic. I went there with my friends before work; the breakfast food was really tasty and modestly priced. I had the roadkill skillet and I recommend it highly.My only quandary is the portions. The amount of food I received was satisfying (no complaints there), but it wasn't the mountain of food most diners put in front of you. I was expecting to make lunch out of my leftovers, but I finished the whole plate. Perhaps that's to the credit of the restaurant regarding how good the food was, but it's worth mentioning in case you've come to expect the same. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Great hidden gem in a great town! If you've never visited you are missing out!

Good breakfast and service. Senior menu, great deals. And staff had masks, plenty of hand sanitizer and spacing between tables, booths.

For those in the Stevens Point area there isn't a better place to eat than this Cafe. The theme is the 50s with picture displayed thru out the restaurant. The service is also outstanding.

I just ate here for the first time. I ordered the sausage and bacon croissant sandwich with hash browns. I was served in less than 5 minutes! The food was hot and delicious. I also had a rum cherry milkshake for dessert. It was outstanding! I received stellar customer service from my waitress and three other employees also asked me how my food was tasting and if I needed anything else. I lived in this neighborhood back in the early 1990's. I will have to visit my old neighborhood again soon.

I love this place! They prepare superb food, their menu is decent, The chief cook in that spot is a specialist, I like a lot tasting all their dishes. The dishes are always fresh and tasty, the attitude towards the clients is friendly. I go often to this restaurant and I was never unsatisfied. Highly recommended.

Very good food. Specifically the burgers & the fries. The burger is delicious without any condiments & the fries are perfectly done; not too crispy, but not too flimsy.Staff are friendly & make sure you are taken care of. Always a nice place to eat.

I just randomly selected this restaurant off of Google and didn't regret going there at all. The food was excellent and the service was pretty good. The decor inside is very nostalgic and cool looking. The only thing that could have made it better was maybe playing some oldies music, like Elvis or even some Bing Crosby. But all in all a great place for breakfast. Oh I forgot to mention that it is also on Route 66, so it was kind of neat thinking that we were on a road that could take us all the way West.

What a warm and cozy place to get an outstanding breakfast omelet for lunch!! My friend had the special - a bluegill meal - her response was so positive, she made lots of yummy sounds as she ate. The dining room was bright and clean, and our waitress was so pleasant! Actually, they seemed to have plenty of staff there - so we didn't wait long to be served. Something else - we sat near the kitchen, and I was so impressed by the way they all worked together. I did not overhear complaining from the kitchen - it's not like that at some other restaurants.Thanks for a lovely lunch, Rock 'n Roll Cafe!!

Excellent as always. Pleasant staff. The owner is SO nice. Lots of options on menu, most of which are American. But they have some MexAmer offerings & I usually get the Mexican Eggs Benedict...which is awesome.
